What we are

NorthernAZRoofing (operated by Apex and Studio LLC) is a referral service that matches homeowners with licensed Arizona ROC roofing contractors. We are not a contractor. We do not design, install, repair, or inspect roofs. Any work performed on your home is a separate contract between you and the contractor we connect you with.

Your use of the service

The service is free for homeowners. You agree to provide accurate information and to use the service for legitimate roofing-project inquiries only.

Contractor relationship

Contractors matched through our service are independent businesses. You are responsible for verifying their license, insurance, and references before signing any contract with them. You can verify any AZ ROC license at roc.az.gov.

Disclaimer of warranty

We provide the match service as-is. We do not guarantee outcomes, pricing, timelines, or the quality of any contractor's work. Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to use the service (zero, for most homeowners).

Disputes

Any dispute between a homeowner and a matched contractor is between those two parties. We're happy to help mediate when we can — email [email protected].

Refund policy

This section applies to contractor subscriptions only — homeowners pay nothing to use NorthernAZRoofing.

Free trial (days 1-14)

Your card is on file but $0 is charged during the 14-day trial. Cancel any time before day 14 from /pro/billing and you owe nothing — no refund needed because no money was taken.

First-charge full refund (24-hour window)

If you decide it isn't for you within 24 hours of your day-14 first auto-charge, you can self-serve a full refund of that charge from /pro/billing (one click, no questions). Your subscription cancels immediately and the funds typically appear on your card in 5-10 business days.

Bad-lead credits (after the trial)

If a routed lead turns out to be junk — wrong number, fake homeowner, spam dressed as a real inquiry — tap "Report junk lead" inside the lead and our admin will review within 1 business day. If we approve the dispute, we credit your account at the blended per-lead rate of your tier (your monthly price ÷ the leads we routed you that month). Credits auto-apply to your next invoice.

Cancellation outside the 24-hour window

You can cancel at any time. By default, cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep all benefits you paid for through that date, then routing stops. We do not pro-rate unused days outside the 24-hour first-charge window.

Pause vs vacation

Vacation mode stops your leads but keeps your subscription running (you don't lose tier benefits). Pause stops both — no bill and no leads. Both are reversible from /pro/billing; neither involves a refund because nothing extra was charged.

Stripe disputes & chargebacks

If you initiate a Stripe chargeback without first using the refund or dispute paths above, we reserve the right to deactivate your account pending review. Always email [email protected] first — we'll usually have it resolved before you'd hear back from your bank.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any legal action will be brought in Yavapai County Superior Court.
